Congratulations to the De Leon MS 7th & 8th grade boys & girls cross country team on a great season. Individual 8th Grade Girls District Champ was Geraldine C. Placing in the top 20 were: Geraldine C. 1st, Zoey R. 7th, Isabella G. 15th, Dayanni S. 17th, Arayla G. 18th, Isabella F. 19th, Alyssa A. 20th, Diego C. 14th, Marco P. 15th, Xaphira G. 16th, Ivan R. 9th, and Joaquin S. 20th. Congratulations to De Leon for your success at the District History Fair Competition last week, in which students researched, then created a project relating to the theme "Turning Points in History"



Jacob deserves special acknowledgment for not only being a gracious individual but for also contributing to the positive culture we strive to foster within our school. His genuine happiness for others is a refreshing and inspiring quality that reflects well on his character.


Emma was observed displaying a level of genuine happiness and selflessness that truly set her apart.Upon learning that another student was being recognized for their achievements, Emma not only congratulated them but also expressed heartfelt joy and enthusiasm for their success.


Martin has demonstrated an exceptional level of initiative by proactively seeking information on how to run the morning announcements. His willingness to take on this responsibility without being prompted is truly commendable.


Huge congratulations to our 8th grade back to back district champs baseball team! Their dedication and love for the game showed with a record of 17-0, 1st place tournament, and the only McAllen ISD middle school to win two district titles. Thank you for your support!


A huge shout out to our 7th grade baseball team for finishing the season strong with a record of 5-2. They played their hearts out until the end.
